Free Form Designer - More Control

    Tom,

I've used the free form design and we're deploying the survey to a separate website.  The tables and spaced that seem to be automatically created completely blow out the design.  Specifically some TD heights.

I noticed a post where you said you could click on the 'eye' to edit the HTML but I don't see that in the Free Form designer.  Is there somewhere that we have more manual control over the HTML that the free form generates?

     Thanks.

Re: Free Form Designer - More Control

    Hi,

its unfortunately not possible to customize the generated layout manually, its a fairly complex process that requires server side code generation to generate the layout on the fly. The eye icon was available in a very early beta of the editor but was removed in the final version of the editor. The layout might not look the same due to overriding of objects, try to have a look in your form that no object (questions, html, behaviors, tables etc...) space (you can see the object space when you click on it) is overriding any other object space otherwise FS will try to re-arrange the layout the best it can to remove the overrides.
